On Wednesday, March 10th, New Hampshire Public Radio hosted a segment focused on House Bill 1356 which proposes that the NH right-to-know law, which allows the public open access to records and meetings, should apply to any 501(c)(3) nonprofit whose annual revenue exceeds $100,000 and which is more than 50% funded by the state or a political subdivision or subdivisions of the state. The Center's Advocacy Director, Claudia Damon, was on hand to discuss the proposed legislation and the negative impact approval of this legislation will have to nonprofits.
