The mission of the Lane and Elizabeth C. Dwinell Charitable Trust is to strengthen the community and support positive social change in the State of New Hampshire.  Accordingly, the Trustee accepts grant proposals from a wide variety of charitable organizations and will consider program, capital and operating requests.  There is a geographic preference for organizations serving needs in the City of Lebanon, NH and the Upper Valley region.

Recently awarded grants had an annual median value of $7,500 and a mean of approximately $11,400; approximately $200,000 is awarded annually.  The postmark deadline for proposal submission is August 15.  For a copy of the guidelines, please call Debra Dunn at (603) 647-7650 or you can download the guidelines.   Please read the grantmaking guidelines thoroughly before applying and follow the required application format.  Please keep in mind that this is a competitive proposal application process.  Bank of America serves as Trustee to the Dwinell Trust and works with a local Advisory Committee to administer a grantmaking program in accordance with the will of the donor.
