Concord Regional VNA Receives Funds From NH Charitable Foundation

Concord, NH—Mary B. DeVeau, President/CEO, announced that Concord Regional Visiting Nurse Association received a $5,000 grant from the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation to partially fund the development of a secure Intranet for employee education and communication. This is particularly important for visiting nurses because they are always out in the community rather than stationary, and use laptop computers for their work.

The Intranet will provide a secure electronic space for internal, real-time communication, including information that is vital for disaster response such as road closures and patient prioritization.

The New Hampshire Charitable Foundation is a statewide community foundation, established in 1962. This permanent endowment comes from gifts from many individuals, families, corporations and organizations. Earnings from the endowment are used to make grants and loans to nonprofit organizations serving the state and for scholarship awards to New Hampshire residents.
