Jack has served as President and CEO of the Lakes Region United Way since 2003.  The Lakes Region United Way serves all of Belknap County, portions of Carroll and Grafton County and is headquartered in Laconia NH.

Jack was born in Brooklyn NY, but has resided in the seacoast and lakes regions of New Hampshire for most of his life.  Jack studied business at the University of New Hampshire and recently received a Masters Degree in Community Economic Development from Southern New Hampshire University.  Jack has also studied in London, England and at the University of Pennsylvania.

After school, Jack became involved in construction management, and had a 20-year career at Pike Industries, the largest produce of hot mix asphalt and construction materials in the Northeast.  Jack also worked with New Enterprise Stone and Lime Co. in southwest Pennsylvania for three years.

Jack has been blessed with two wonderful children, a daughter just beginning her college career and a son who is a very athletic sophomore in high school. 

While at times Jack misses the satisfaction derived from building a better road, he enjoys the challenges presented in the course of attempting to build a better community.
