Jim has worked at nonprofits and for-profits for the past 24 years, in a variety of functions including trade group management, restaurant marketing, consulting, publishing, advice column writing, and teaching. He has served in several nonprofit board and executive director roles, and has been Secretary of the NHCN Board of Directors since 2003. In his current position, as Director of Institutional Research at Granite State College, Jim evaluates operations, constituencies, and programs to support enrollment management decisions. Prior to joining Granite State College (formerly CLL) as Director of Marketing in early 2002, he was  Publisher of Science & Spirit magazine and President of his own consulting company, Miller Business Navigators, Inc. Jim earned a B.A. from Middlebury College and an M.B.A. from Cornell's Johnson Graduate School of Management.
