Residential Program Manager

Founded in 1963, Riverbend Community Mental Health is a private, nonprofit organization providing specialized behavioral health services in central New Hampshire. Core services include 24/7 emergency mobile crisis services; counseling services for children, adults, and families; and community support, vocational services, and residential programs for adults and seniors. Riverbend Community Mental Health, Inc., one of the largest providers of community-based mental health services in New Hampshire, is seeking a full-time manager to work in our residential program in Concord, NH, which provides recovery-oriented services to adults living with severe and persistent mental illness.
As a Residential Program Manager, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day administrative operations of this supportive residential program, as well as training and supervising a team of clinical staff. The Residential Program Manager will not only manage and supervise a team of staff, but will also actively provide support for the residents of the facility, fostering relations with residents’ family members, as well as other community providers.
•      Monitor mandatory  state regulations for certification and licensing
•      Resource Allocation
•      Supervising a team of Residential Rehabilitation Specialists who work with clients on achieving optimal recovery and independence
•      Managing and maintaining staff schedules for a 24-hour program
•      Coordination with other service providers


•      Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, rehabilitation, education, or human services
•      One year of supervisory experience and experience in the mental health field preferred
•      CNA, LNA, CMA licensure is in addition to a Bachelor’s degree is preferred
•      Monday thru Friday, 8am-5pm. Flexibility to work different shifts, if necessary.
•      A valid driver’s license and personal vehicle with auto insurance
•      CPR certification, or willingness to become certified
•      MOAB (crisis management) certification, or willingness to become certified
•      He-M 1202 (medication management) certification, or willingness to become certified
