Newly expanded position for either a full or part-time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

We are looking for an office-based Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner for our Adult Program. West Central Behavioral Health is the nonprofit community mental health car provider for Sullivan County and the Upper Valley, ensuring access to advanced counseling, treatment, and support for people of all ages, regardless of their ability to pay.

You will be part of a multidisciplinary team, serving individuals with trauma-related conditions, including PTSD, borderline personality disorder and dialectical behavior therapy.

West Central is affiliated with Dartmouth Medical School Department of Psychiatry and a site for clinical research studies through Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center and New Hampshire Psychiatric Research Center. This position is located at Rivermill facility in Lebanon, NH.

This position qualifies for the New Hampshire State Loan Repayment Program (SLRP).

  • Graduate from a Nurse Practitioner Program
  • Experience as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
  • Current licensure in the State of New Hampshire
  • National Certification as an APRN
  • Conduct diagnostic evaluations and treatment recommendations
  • Medication management
  • Providing psychiatric guidance to your team
  • Supervision of psychiatry residents
  • Participation in home-based call rotation
  • Work closely with program director to develop and provide high quality services
  • Complete all client related documentation in a timely manner and accurate manner as required by the agency.
  • Demonstrate a regard for the worth, dignity and respect of all clients, family members, visitors, and personnel.
