Arts and Community Growth: A Reception and Idea Jam

Presented by: Arts Alive!

Randy Cohen, VP of Policy & Research at Americans for the Arts, will speak at events across the Monadnock region in September 2017, tailoring his message to the audience at hand. The basis for his presentations will be the recent Arts & Economic Prosperity Study conducted across the Monadnock region, including surveys of 36 arts organizations and 961 audience members. More information on the study can be found at MonadnockArtsAlive.org/AEP5 or by emailing Jessica Gelter, Director of Arts Alive!, at office@monadnockartsalive.org.

The Greater Keene Chamber of Commerce and Arts Alive! welcome Randy Cohen to speak about the AEP 5 Monadnock region study. After Randy's speech Arts Alive! will host an idea jam facilitated by Taryn Fisher, where participants get 60 seconds to pitch an idea that grew out of what Randy presented. The question at hand will be “how can Arts & Culture play a role in enhancing & communicating quality of life in our region?”

$10 registration fee includes light fare. Cash bar.

Partners include the Greater Keene Chamber of Commerce and the Hannah Grimes Center.

Date/Time: Wednesday, September 6, 2017 - 5:30pm to 8:00pm
Location: The Hive at the Hannah Grimes Center
