Embracing the Power of Your Outcomes

Outcome measurement is not inherently evil

Nonprofits today face ever-growing pressure to demonstrate the outcomes and impact of their programs.  It can feel like the tail wagging the dog when over-complicated evaluation processes steal valuable time and resources away from mission-related activities.

What if you changed the way you thought about it?

Peter York encourages us to think in terms of learning what works. To know what works, you need to do some measuring; then, give meaning to that measurement by implementing changes based on what we learn as we deliver our programs.  Our end results are better programs and solid data to garner more support for our mission.

Peter will share his experience on how to simplify the evaluation/outcome process for better results. He will focus on the implementation aspects of the process and share practical advice gained from his experience as one of the nation's leading consultants on evaluation and outcome measurement.
