Peter Smith Joins Monadnock United Way As Campaign and Donor Relations Manager

Keene - Peter Smith has joined Monadnock United Way (MUW) as Campaign and Donor Relations Manager. He has lived and worked in the Monadnock Region since 1984. A graduate of Keene State College, Peter comes to MUW from Marlboro College in Vermont where he was Director of Annual Giving. While there, Peter was responsible for developing and managing programs that focused on increasing and sustaining annual giving. Prior to that, Peter was Associate Director of Institutional Advancement at Landmark College in Putney, Vermont. In the past, Peter held positions as Patron Relations Lead and Membership Coordinator for the Portsmouth Music Hall, and as Director of Audience and Marketing Services for the Colonial Theatre in Keene, New Hampshire.

Peter is excited about joining MUW, saying, “I am honored to have the opportunity to return to work in the Monadnock Region, and to be able to give back and help many of the programs, services, and people who have had a major impact on me and my family. Monadnock United Way could not present a better mission and set of values for me to advocate for on behalf of this beloved community.”

Originally from Windsor, Connecticut, Peter holds a BA in Theatre Arts, Speech and Film Production from Keene State College. Peter resides in Keene, New Hampshire with wife Heather, and their children, Alexandra and Jack. In his spare time, Peter enjoys hiking, golf, photography, and beach vacations with his family.
