Jill Morgan to Join Monadnock United Way As Program Director for the Impact Monadnock Early Childhood Initiative

Keene - Jill Morgan comes to Monadnock United Way from the City of Minneapolis, Minnesota where she was Intergovernmental Relations Senior Resource Coordinator. Jill's strong background in early childhood, including eight years as the Early Childhood Education Community Impact leader at United Way of Tucson and Southern Arizona, her experience working with and for the benefit of children and youth, as well as directing collective impact work at the local and statewide levels, will be assets as she leads Monadnock United Way's Impact Monadnock early childhood initiative.

“I am passionate about my work as a community impact leader and about helping children get what they need early in life so that they have the opportunity to live up to their fullest potential. I'm thrilled to be joining the team at Monadnock United Way and the Impact Monadnock initiative to make a positive difference in the lives of young children and their families,” said Jill about joining the Monadnock United Way team. “I have already experienced the ‘Monadnock magic’—its caring people and beautiful landscape—and I am excited to grow roots in my new community.”

“Jill brings a wide breadth of experience to Monadnock United Way's Impact Monadnock initiative,” said Liz LaRose, APR, president of the Monadnock United Way. “Her a background in early childhood development, experience in leading early childhood impact initiatives at the United Way of Tucson and track record in bringing community groups together to address a shared goal will position Impact Monadnock for growth and success. We look forward to welcoming Jill to the Monadnock Region early this fall.”

Jill holds a BA in Elementary Education from the University of Missouri, and is a graduate of the Greater Tucson Leadership Adult Program. Jill served as a volunteer with the Reiki Practitioner Program at the VA Hospital in Tucson from 2012-13 as well as volunteering for Aviva Children's Services, also of Tucson.

Jill will be relocating to the Monadnock Region from Minneapolis in September.
